It’s a horse. Yes, really.
Tim Robbins’ performance as Andy Dufresne in ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ is truly one of the most emotionally vulnerable performances in recent movie history.
A man wrongfully accused of murder sent to the brutal Shawshank prison, Dufresne eventually conspires to escape by crawling through a mile of human waste to freedom and begins a new life in Mexico, forming a bond with Morgan Freeman’s Red. It’s a beautiful, heartfelt story and one of Stephen King’s most celebrated adaptations.

The Navan Racecourse Maiden Hurdle was won by a horse named Andy Dufresne. That’s literally it. The horse made its hurdling debut with jockey Mark Walsh and did so with relative ease and a clear cruise.
Mystery solved, so.
